It's always this time of year when I think about T.S. Eliot. I mean, seriously, T.S.-- you think
April is the cruelest month? I love April. Let's talk about January and February. Gag. I hate these months. They are cruel and boring and awful.
Um. I've been a little bored lately.
My house is (relatively) clean. My to-do list is entirely in control. And it's too cold to spend any time outside.
I've been looking for random jobs on Craigslist (this is what I do when I'm bored). And there was a posting for hair technicians, but you don't need experience, working on former childcare workers, and you get paid $20/hour. What? Something tells me I would show up for an interview and leave with one less kidney.
Something that always brightens my day, however, is a Netflix description of one of Bria's favorite movies:
Strawberry Shortcake: Sky's the Limit. Just read this little gem:
Strawberry Shortcake engages her entrepreneurial spirit and opens a sweet Berry Café to booming business in the heart of Berry Bitty City -- until the town's endangered water supply threatens to dry up her business and devastate the region. Can't you just imagine some poor, bored soul sitting in a Netflix office, being so bored describing movie after movie that he decides to describe Strawberry Shortcake like some drama or action movie? I love it.
